A clone is considered an adult once it has roots. HOWEVER you should NOT start off with full strength nutrients, as they did not receive much nutrients in the cloning stage. Plants do not like any abrupt changes. Going from no food to full strength food will burn your roots & hurt your yield if it does not kill the plants.
