• Why does my air pump get water in it when the power goes out?	Air pump shown with water dripping from it.
  Answer: Whenever you leave your air pump below your reservoir, the water will back feed when the pump quits. If you have a reservoir you should put the pump on top of the reservoir or higher, or it will fill with water when the power shuts off.
