• Why do plants do better when the water drains after watering than if the water is not allowed to drain?
  Answer: A lot of plants do not like wet feet (that means they do not like to be in standing water). Standing water has low to no oxygen, creating more risk of root rot & other root bound diseases. Even plants that are in water need high level of oxygen in the water to do their best.
